A boss I designed for the game "One" on PS1, about 1997. I was really fortunate to be trusted to do the concept, modeling, rigging, and animation for this one. I built the environment and did some work on gameplay as well. The texturing work was a mix of hand drawn & photoshop for the main body, with the hard surface elements rendered and "baked". This predates modern baked workflow and materials by some time, so just a simple render to diffuse. Worked on the end cutscene as well, which was all done in-engine.
